I guess I missed this if it even made the local news. But, I’ll go ahead and suggest that the letter probably found its way to the circular file (or shredder.)

Atheists despise other people’s freedom.

This had not been in the local news until I posted on my FB. Within an hour a TV station picked it up

http://wjhl.com/2015/12/10/atheist-group-wants-johnson-city-police-to-end-adopt-a-cop-program/

News Channel 11 reached out to Chief Sirois for a response late Thursday.

Here’s what he told us tonight.

“We received the letter, and we’re taking the complaint seriously. We’ve discussed it with our legal counsel, and we’re reviewing it.”

“The intention of the program is encouragement and support for police officers and the work that they do. Their daily activity of protecting the people in our city is very demanding, and they need all the support that they can get.”

“People have asked what they can do to support our police officers. This was a response to that request from the community.”

“We realize that, as a governmental entity, we can’t advance a religion. Our intention was the respond to a request from the community to offer support.”

If Atheists really believed in what they say they wouldn’t complain about someone else’s religious beliefs as its meaningless mumbo jumbo. The fact is that they do believe in God, they just hate him.

WHEN will people stand up and take these FFR freaks to court?

The Constitution says freedom OF religion, not FROM religion.
It also mandates that the government cannot establish a national religion, such as the Church of England was done.

There is nothing in the Constitution or BoR that states the often used phrase “separation of church and State”, so often used to remove nativity scenes and crosses from public land or to prevent prayer in schools or sports venues.

Liberal judges have caved in to this crap for years and it’s past time for a Conservative group to step up and shove the Constitution in front of the SCOTUS to stop this BS!

Rant over....
