In that particular image, I believe it was Pope John Paul II. Below is a image Pope Francis kissing something, claimed to be the Quran, but I'm not certain it is.

The Koran is a spurious document at best. At worse, it was brought upon the world by a trickery of Satan - not a vision from anything connected with the Almighty.
