Islamic Refugee Crisis: Good Samaritan or Maccabean Response? Or both
blog ^ | November 20, 2015 | Dr. Taylor Marshall

This article is politically incorrect and says things that might shock you. Please read the entire article until the very last two paragraphs before making a judgment or writing incendiary comments. This might be one of the clearest things you’ve read on the topic, because it draws on virtue ethics of Thomas Aquinas – something generally ignored in our day and age. – Godspeed, Taylor Marshall

A great read & synopsis of St Thomas Aquinas & thoughts about how to deal with (or not deal with) the Muslim refugees from a Catholic viewpoint.

77% of these people ARE young fighting age males- NOT little childre4n and older people (not that that matters be3cause little children growing up in islam are TAUGHT to hate the western world and to join isis when they get older- sometimes’ and older people figure they have nothing to lose so are more l ikely to answer the call to jihad)

77% folks- almost 80% are young men- almost unprecedented in the world for immigrants to be this age and not older/younger

Like one sign states- We do NOT lock our doors because we hate those on the outside, we do so because we love those on the inside and wish to take EVERY precaution we can to protect them- INCLUDING preventing mass immigration of young fighting age males from terrorist nations-

It has NOTHING to do with hate and EVERYTHING to do with vigilance!

Thank you for the post of this well written article for all believers.
When Jesus walked on this earth before being crucified, he told his disciples to get a sword if they did not have one. The disciples had at least two swords with them. He also spoke of defending ones household in the parable of the thief coming to break in at night which has a physical and spiritual meaning. His focus was peace through Him and to show the world by His actions and words the mercy and kindness of our Father. The mercy side of God triumphs over His judgement as that is His heart to mankind. However, He can still show His hard side to those who persist in doing evil and by doing so, he has kindness and mercy on those who are being attacked by evil working through people. Doing unto others as you would have them do unto you includes forcefully protecting people from evil doers as you would want them to protect you from evil doers. Interestingly, Revelations 6:16 mentions the wrath of the Lamb which is not typical for sheep to exhibit, but shows it appropriate at times. Peace

Thx for posting this. I read it a few days ago, and was too lazy to post it, despite it being an excellent article.

Christians used to understand this until liberalism turned our brains to mush. It is vanity to think that our group hug, kissy kissy love will bring peace on earth. Only Jesus will bring peace on earth when he comes down on the clouds.

Look at us now an insipid, huggy-huggy, candle lighting, give peace a chance nation. John Lennon said give peace a chance not Jesus Christ. Compare us to the nation we were during World War II—”Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition”. Today’s America is degenerate.

Amen. After I pray for my near and dear ones every day, I ask the Lord for the conversion of "about a million Muslims."

I actually know one who is converting. She expects to be baptized this Spring. If I am able, I would like to attend this glorious event. I have been corresponding with her. Pray for Megi.
