Holy God, we thank You for this day, with all of its blessings, and we pray that we would do the work You given us to do today, and be grateful for what You given us to enjoy.

Father, as our government considers the troubles in this world and how to respond, we pray that You would grant them wisdom, especially in where they send our military and why.

O LORD, when we consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars, which You have set in place, what is man that You are mindful of him, the son of man that You care for him? You made him a little lower than the heavenly beings and crowned him with glory and honor. You made him ruler over the works of Your hands; You put everything under his feet - all flocks and herds, and the beasts of the field, the birds of the air, and the fish of the sea, all that swim the paths of the sea. Lord, we thank You for what You have given us: life, and honor, a reflection of Your image, Your works to enjoy and name and rule - to Your glory. We praise You for who You are, and we thank You for what You have made us, in the Name of Jesus our Lord and God, Amen.
