***According to him, liberalism for believers is as dangerous as communism
Moscow, November 2, Interfax - Head of the charitable organization Samaritan's Purse and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, Franklin Graham is concerned that Americans abandon Christian norms of morality.
"Americans ruled God out of their lives," Graham said at his meeting with Chief Rabbi of Russia Berel Lazar in Moscow, the rabbi's press service reports on Monday.
Graham said that he was also concerned that his compatriots abandoned biblical moral principles under pressure of secularists.
According to him, earlier many westerners worried that "the world will become atheistic under communist influence, but it cleared out that liberalism bears the same danger as in its extreme manifestations it deprives believers of their voting power in the public discussion."
He’s right.
When the scotus legalized same sex marriage I knew I was through living in the world. That and a few other things did it for me. Soon after, I gave my heart to Jesus, asked God into my life and I have not looked back.
“IF you continue in My word, then you really are My disciples. And you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free,” says Jesus in John 8:31.
If you ignore His word or re-write it to win favor with the ungodly, you aren’t His follower, no matter how long you have belonged to a church.
Russia is playing a very interesting game.
Inviting Graham is a very, well, shocking thing to me. The Orthodox do not respect Evangelicals. To bring in the man who defined the term is a surprise.
Newsflash for Rev. Graham. It started in 1963, downhill ever since. These are just symptons of the cause.
Praise G-d, may you walk in His light and be a light to the world.
Thank you for those kind words. Just at 55 years of age I got a lot of work to do! : )
