FR: Never Accept the Premise of Your Opponents Argument
The statement above clarifying that homosexual orientation is a temptation is oversimplified imo. More specifically, Romans 1:25-27 clearly indicates that same-sex sexual relationships are a consequence of idolatry, in other words a consequence of disobeying the First Commandment.
People suffering temptation and slavery to same-sex sexual relationships need to consider the following. 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 indicates that members of that early church had likewise been slaves to such temptation. But that passage also indicates that some had repented and accepted Gods grace to turn their lives around.
