We can be confident in assuming that Pope Francis is in favor of finding a way to administer Holy Communion to those divorced, remarried, or actively homosexual. He would be in favor of either changing Church teaching or changing Church practice, i.e. finding a loophole in which he doesnt have to promote heresy via a declaration, but rather, showing a false sense of mercy towards the sinner.
How can I be so certain that he wants to defy Christs teaching?
Simple. Cardinal Kasper said so.
Cardinal Kasper, much like a priest exorcising a brand new baby in the old form of baptism, invoked the name of Francis three times stating that Pope Francis was in favor of his position. Cardinal Kasper, whom Pope Francis is on record stating his theology is serene and an example of doing theology on ones knees (gross) has been publicly opposed to the Churchs teachings on refusing Communion for the aforementioned sinners, unrepentant mind you. With Pope Francis name being invoked three times, you would think he would have at least set the record straight with a statement over the last year and a half reassuring the faithful that he is not on the side of Cardinal Kasper.
Before you begin to tell me how the media isnt presenting Pope Francis side of the story, or hes being controlled, or that he doesnt know how the media works, lets think about how ridiculous this claim would be.
If someone were using your name to promote a cause or organization that you were opposed to, not just once, but going to the media and using your name three times, would you sit idly by and allow it to continue, or would you find a way to set the record straight? Personally, if someone were saying that I support Planned Parenthood, I would be tweeting, blogging, and doing everything in my power to state my opposition.
All Francis has to do is simply state during one of his Wednesday audiences that he has heard that Cardinal Kasper has been publicly using his name to promote error. His Wednesday audiences are unmoderated and can be prepared ahead of time. Yet, there is nothing. at. all. from Francis stating otherwise.
Pope Boniface VIII is known for saying that silence gives consent. In the case of Francis, not only does his silence give consent that he is indeed in agreement with Cardinal Kasper, but the silence coming from him, as well as the rest of the media in the Vatican, is deafening.
What’s Up With The Synod?
What’s with the Synod? The Bible does not change.
Forgiveness, compassion, mercy, welcoming of all, we are all sinners, open doors, nurturing atmosphere, pastoral care...
yes yes yes yes yes and YES, imho, wonderful...
but, Jesus taught......repentence, forgiveness, AND.....’go and sin no more...”
....
....”go and sin no more”
