According to a Brody File report on CBN News, Trump recently met and prayed with about 40 pastors and religious leaders on Monday, for some 2 1/2 hours.

The huddle reportedly culminated with the leaders surrounding Trump, laying hands on him in prayer, asking the Lord to give him "wisdom, stability and knowledge," as well as praying for America.

People send Trump Bibles all the time. He says he doesn't have the heart to throw them away so he donates them.

Far cry from the evil-moron in the Rainbow House right now.

” asking the Lord to give him “wisdom, stability and knowledge,”

Too bad it didn’t work

King Solomon was a man of wisdom and riches— oh and also very foolish in many ways too. The Lord can and does use flawed individuals for His great purposes.

I believe there is a photo on youtube I think of ministers praying over the Anti-Christ. It is obvious that their prayers didn’t help Big Ears because he has been doing everything against God.

Snarky is unbecoming to you.

So when did God appoint you as His judge? He decided you and you alone were worthy to see into a man’s heart. Somehow I doubt it

Some of the pastors were quoted as saying Trump was very humble during the meeting. I think people have underestimated his faith. If Cruz is his VP, he will no doubt become closer to God than ever. Cruz will ask to pray with him regularly. It is a good thought to have that in the White House again.

Well, Trump specifically said when asked whether he had ever prayed for forgiveness that “I’ve never felt the need to ask for forgiveness. I forgive myself and go on”, or words to that effect.

He hasn’t been studying.

His and my faith do not believe we have to confess or ask for forgo eness. We believe in Grace. That Christ died on the cross for the forgiveness of all our sins.

You are the one who has not been studying or you would have known that a his church’s teaching. I’m am offended that you think you are a better Christian than I am

What Trump has said, about that statement, is that he considered taking Communion as being forgiven and that’s why Communion is important to him. I don’t think he is well versed in religious terminology, but I do feel that God will be able to use him . . He needed a fighter and Trump is that.

For as good or as evil he may be, you miss the importance of what’s going on.

No, ma’am - we ALL need to confess our sins, repent of them and ask Christ’s forgiveness. If we don’t, His sacrifice meant nothing. And it meant everything. Trump’s “I forgive myself” comment reflects, at best, a poor understanding of Whose forgiveness is important, and it’s not my own.

Yes we all are sinners
Your church teaches one thing mine another.
When some of us take communion it is to accept Grace — the acceptance of forgiveness. We believe that Christ died on the cross as atonement for our sins. I understand your faith does not believe that and you must confess sin to a higher power We do not. Am not trying to say mine is better. Just different than yours. That’s why Jim has separated the groups here Trump believes the same as I do. Because neither is the same as yours it does not make us wrong just different.
Have a good day
