The pro-gay-marriage, pro-abortion bishops and priests are falling over themselves to reassure all their gay friends that the meeting was a “set-up,” the Pope was tricked!, etc. Cupich is the latest to jump on the anti-Kim Davis bandwagon.
Cupich has all but called the pope a liar, saying meeting with Kim Davis was in way showing support for her cause. This is the exact opposite of what Francis said on the plane flying back to Rome.
