Gestures like these don't make a mockery of the (Catholic) faith unless they go un-responded to.
So the question is, will Francis say anything? Will the Church speak out? Will Francis affirm the sanctity and dignity of traditional marriage? Will he call acting out one's homosexual desires to be sinful?
Not sure why I've been paying attention to this pope but I have been and I have to say I feel very badly for my Catholic friends.
