You make no sense here, in as much as the Church is the Body of Christ (Ref Col 1:18, Col 1:24)...and we are members of that Body (ref: Rom 12:4-5, 1 Cor 6:15, 1 Cor 12)...
I make perfect sense. Jesus is head of His church...that does not mean the Baptist church, the Catholic church, or any other church. The church is all those who believe he paid the penalty for our sins and repent. The church as an earthly institution can save no one. There are plenty of people who sit in pews every week and think that is what will get them into heaven...being catholic, Baptist, etc. Guarantees nothing. It is Jesus...solely Jesus.
