“Jesus also, for a certain time, was very popular, and look at how that turned out. So nobody has their happiness guaranteed in this world.”

Is guy an idiot or what?

At this point, anyone who describes themselves as Catholic had best be a sedevacantist, or else they are part of the Left-wing machine.

God, whether in Judaism, in Christianity, or in Islam, in the faith of those three peoples, accompanies God’s people with His presence. In the Bible we see it, Muslims in the Koran.
Sir, I am a Christian. My God, is of Love and Life. The God that the muslim follow is the God of hate and of death. Is it possible you really do not know that?

A friend of mine, a devout Catholic, Retired NYPD, severely disabled from an on-the-job incident, and a fellow conservative, was given FOUR free tickets to see the Pope, and declined.

I just thought it was interesting.

If pope f. thinks that he is overturning merchants’ tables in the temple, he is delusional. pope f. IS ushering in the NWO globalists banksters and politicians. He is the one supporting a one world government, one world currency, one world economy, one world religion.

The middle class will not be well served under world wide carbon taxes and skyrocketing energy costs. What pope f. is really doing is robbing the poor woman of her last shekel.

He uses the term “utilitarian” as if it means selfishly using other people.

It does not.

If anything, Pope Francis shares a consequentialist ethical framework with the utilitarians.

Note: I am not a utilitarian

Is Pope Francis in a competition with Glenn Beck to see who can make the most outrageous statement? Common sense is never on display when these two babble on.

Maybe Fr. Blanco does not need an ambulance in response to hearing Francis's sins every few weeks.

However, if Pontius Pilate and the Roman authorities at Jerusalem had modern ambulances and a heart filled with charity (even in their manifest ignorance of Who Jesus Christ was), they would have prided an ambulance to Jesus Christ even BEFORE He was crucified, even BEFORE He carried His cross, even BEFORE He was mocked and "crowned" with thorns. His condition after the scourging at the pillar would have been enough justification.

Francis would do well to remember, as a successor of Peter, that Francis's sins are not to be minimized in this fashion. Just Francis's personal sins would have disqualified him from heaven without God becoming man with both natures and suffering and dying in atonement of those sins. Francis's sins, my sins, your sins (gentle reader) and the sins of each and every one of us. Only Jesus and Mary were without sin. Jesus, by His divine nature, and Mary, only by the grace of God.

Sounds pretty good to me, a non-Catholic, want-to-be Jew.
