Offering prayers in Jesus' name for the Church, to seek the Lord's will in all things; for the lost, that the Church will be a light to them that they will come to a knowledge of the truth of Jesus Christ and be saved; for the Gospel to be proclaimed everywhere bringing about the salvation of many souls, and for revival in the U.S. and Europe; and for those suffering for the Lord's name, including Kim Davis. Prayers for anything else are also welcome.
Lord Jesus, tonight and in the coming trials please show Yourself mighty for Mrs. Davis. Send Your Spirit to be with her, encourage and strengthen her. I pray that she has Your Word of Truth with her, that she puts on the Armor of God, especially the Shield of Faith to quench every firey dart of the enemy. In Jesus Holy Name i pray, Amen.
Praying for our sister Kim, in Jesus holy name.
Psalm 70King James Version (KJV)
70 Make haste, o God, to deliver me; make haste to help me, O Lord.
2 Let them be ashamed and confounded that seek after my soul: let them be turned backward, and put to confusion, that desire my hurt.
3 Let them be turned back for a reward of their shame that say, Aha, aha.
4 Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: and let such as love thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified.
5 But I am poor and needy: make haste unto me, O God: thou art my help and my deliverer; O Lord, make no tarrying.
Amen.
At this time I believe it is most important to be praying for all Christians in the Middle East.
Jonathan Cahn, author of The Harbinger, is calling for repentance and did so in address to Congress.
It’s a you tube video and transcript of his comments.

If we don’t pray for us too, we’ll be them.
If you think it’s most important, start your own prayer thread about it.
Many prayers are being offer up!
Thought this was good from Mother Teresa:
“There is so much suffering, so much hatred, so much misery, and we with our prayer, with our sacrifice are beginning at home. Love begins at home, and it is not how much we do, but how much love we put in the action that we do. It is to God Almighty - how much we do it does not matter, because He is infinite, but how much love we put in that action. How much we do to Him in the person that we are serving.
“Some time ago in Calcutta we had great difficulty in getting sugar, and I don’t know how the word got around to the children, and a little boy of four years old, Hindu boy, went home and told his parents: I will not eat sugar for three days, I will give my sugar to Mother Teresa for her children. After three days his father and mother brought him to our home. I had never met them before, and this little one could scarcely pronounce my name, but he knew exactly what he had come to do. He knew that he wanted to share his love.”

I pastor I know of spent a month in jail for contempt of court during the Operation Rescue days.
He said it was the best thing that ever happened to him spiritually.
My prayers are for the same for Mrs. Davis.
sorry for the delayed response. been preocupied with things.
i agree. that kind of suffering can bring great joy. praise God that Mrs. Davis is now out of prison.
God bless her for it, Mrs. Davis has decided to pick up her particular cross and follow Him. i think she realized that in this case, resignation would have been putting down her cross. the act of a coward.
i think you like tozer. so do i thanks to your posting him. he sums up the situation Kim Davis finds herself in very well (from A. W. Tozer, The Cross of Obedience, The Radical Cross, p 71, 72):
“All Christians living in full obedience will experience the cross and find themselves exercised in the spirit very frequently. If they know their own hearts, they will be prepared to wrestle with the cross when it comes.”
...
“Continue to name the great souls who followed the will of God, and you will name the men and women of God who looked forward by faith, and their obedience invariably led them into places of blessed and painful and fruitful trouble.”
