August 28, 2015, the feast of the Dormition of our Most Holy Lady Theotokos and Ever-Virgin Mary, His Beatitude Patriarch of Alexandria and All Africa Theodore II and Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the Patriarchal Cathedral of the Assumption of the Moscow Kremlin.

But, it has no foundation in truth. It tells you that if you aren't good enough here, you can always have some fellow travelers to light candles and repeat vain attempts to reach some dead persons, to help get out of some fictitious intermediate place.
But,, my FRiend, your attempt to make it personal is amusing. It is also revealing that you have no argument against the Truth of Scripture. Blessings!
I do hate religions that teach error!
Romans 12: 9 Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. 10 Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves. 11 Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. 12 Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. 13 Share with the Lords people who are in need. Practice hospitality.
14 Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. 15 Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn. 16 Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited.
Please don’t feed the trolls. It only encourages them.
In about an hour, I’ll be heading up to our local Orthodox cult center to cut 225+ lbs of lamb for the souvlakia at our upcoming festival. The women will be making pastry all week and the spanakopita, pastitsio and moussaka have been prepared (and we’ll have plenty of ouzo and masticha and, for our Serbian cultist cousins, ljivovica)...all under the benign gaze of the icon of +Ephrosinos the Cook whose assistance we cultists sincerely request.
Local people, especially our Latin cultist cousins, seem to like us Orthodox cultists most particularly at festival time!
Troparion Tone 4
You lived in great humility, / In labors of asceticism and in purity of soul, / O righteous Euphrosynos, / By a mystical vision you demonstrated the Heavenly joy which you had found. / Therefore make us worthy to be partakers of your intercessions.
We went to a Lebanese restaurant last night. Ah, falafel!
Don’t know if the owners were Moslem, Christian, Druse, or what.
Where is your festival located?
St. Louisans always look forward to the annual St. Nicholas Greek Festival on Labor Day weekend. It is the largest ethnic celebration in St. Louis. While it is a great opportunity to learn about the Greek Orthodox faith and culture, it is also an opportunity to enjoy Greek cuisine. I especially like the pastitsio.

Right there with you.
Alinksy would be proud of you!
You played #13.
13.Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.
But you are in a ROC underneath the Pope if I remember correctly.
No, I am in the Greek Orthodox Church under the Ecumenical Patriarch of Constantinople, as my family has been for 1800 years or so!
Actually, Mormonism comes out of the Protestant tradition, right here in the good ole USA, where free market principles of economics applies to read the bible and start a church of your own, just like ole Joseph Smith did.
While I agree that coming onto the thread to bash Orthodoxy/Catholicism was certainly tasteless, I resent the constant implication that any Protestant who criticizes Catholicism or Orthodoxy is going to get banned. This is not one bit different from the PC censorship in our universities.
Regardless of who likes or doesn't like it, America is historically a majority Protestant country and some people are still Fundamentalist Protestants (ie, still believe all that stuff all Protestants used to believe). Quite naturally an American conservative forum is going to be filled with Fundamentalist Protestants. Catholicism and Orthodoxy are strange to them; they make no sense whatsoever from a FP perspective and unless a thread is caucused they are free to say so.
Ever since the Incident I notice that Protestants and Evangelicals are caucusing every thread they start. They have obviously been intimidated by what happened and by people such as yourself with your constant threats. You are causing fear and resentment on an American conservative web forum where you are very much the minority and they are very much the majority. How is this any different from liberal Jews who constantly threaten all chrstians with the charge of "anti-Semitism?" Hmm? How is it?
If the majority religion can caucus its threads than so can minority religions. I am a Noachide and often caucus my threads discussing religion (though I don't start many any more).
The tyranny of a power-drunk minority, arrogant with the notion that they have special protection, will not last forever.
“The tyranny of a power-drunk minority, arrogant with the notion that they have special protection, will not last forever.”
And like I said....Jim Rob booting 4 wasnt nearly enough.
BTW I am powerless to threaten anyone here....I’m not a moderator.
But thanks for the good laugh with the victimhood stuff...mighty Nice strawman parade there.
Your post was reasonable to this point, where it became personal and dragged the Jews into your argument as a scapegoat of sorts. I would find it more interesting if you chose to start a thread sharing why one is no longer a Fundamentalist Protestant. Of course that could be a complicated web.
Christian, if you won't spell it correctly why use it ? It looks like a deliberate insult and that is unnecessary.
