The "Black Lives Matter" slogan came was coined by a movement that torched a neighbourhood after the justified shooting of a violent criminal in the act of attacking a police officer. If my church posted a slogan that arguably identified itself as taking the side of arsonists and robbers, I'd probably offer them a "hostile response" too.

Yeah, I'd take issue with that too. It's properly translated "ONLY SOME Black Lives Matter." Only black lives that fit the correct political narrative matter.
