Billy Graham son-in-law Danny Lotz found unresponsive in pool

Danny Lotz, the husband of evangelist Billy Graham’s daughter Anne, was in the intensive care unit of a hospital after his wife found him unresponsive in the pool of their Raleigh home on Monday.

“There are no answers yet as to the outcome,” Anne Graham Lotz said on Facebook late Monday. “The family is standing firm in faith, trusting Jesus. Thank you for your prayers.”

Probably had a stroke, Graham is in his 90’s so this son in law could be in his 60s.

Lotz said in a letter to Christian Broadcasting Network Chairman Pat Robertson that the Lord revealed to her that the end is near, and that she should begin a national initiative to bring people closer to Christ.

Her husband, Dr Dan Lotz, has been battling physical illnesses, and Lotz has been spending less time on the road at speaking engagements and more time at home.

The article says Mr. Lotz is diabetic and diabetes can lead to a whole pile of other illnesses. Heart disease and stroke are just two.

Also possible he suffered a severe episode of hypoglycemia or hyperglycemia.

But whatever happened, prayers for Mr. Lotz and his family.
