Heavenly Father –

We are grateful, Father, that You are the Sovereign of the universe. Especially during dark days You move in the world to accomplish Your purpose for the age. Ultimately, evil burns out. Goodness triumphs. And You gives us the victory.

We confess our sins that we have forgotten You and have relied on ourselves. May we repent and be filled with Your Spirit to fight the real foe – the spiritual forces that blind and enslave the world.

Lord, we ask to keep all those who defend us and go into harm’s way to protect us. Through Your mercy and grace, may all us denizens of America repent and become a blessing to the world.

In Jesus Name we pray,
