It's a symptom of the times. Women hold a veto in current marriages. If they don't like a church, then the family doesn't go. If the husband doesn't like a church, then he goes anyway, to keep the peace.
Thus priests and pastors cater to the whims of the women in the church, because they know who really controls what, if anything, gets contributed or tithed. Thus we have church music leaning towards the "Jesus is My Boyfriend" style.
Thus we have preachers finding fault with men, but never women, in their sermons about relationships and marriage, because they know that blasting men is safe, but even suggesting women have responsibilities to hold up their end of the marriage will get them in trouble.
Men who don't like feminized churches will have to just go with all-men prayer groups, meeting separately.

I have met women who have openly stated that they would not submit to their husbands leadership and view their ability to lead with open contempt.
And in the one case, the man is a very spiritually mature and astute believer, and his wife is a nutcase.
