I should hot question the wisdom of the Councils, but of the early Church documents the Didache and the Epistle of Clement are worthy of being in the canon of Scripture.

The Didache was not included in the NT canon for a reason for it introduced teachings contrary to the written word.

Ex:7:4Before the baptism, both the baptizer and the candidate for baptism, plus any others who can, should fast. The candidate should fast for one or two days beforehand.

There are no examples of this in the NT.

Ex: 8:1 Your fasts should not be with the hypocrites, for they fast on Mondays and Thursdays. You should fast on Wednesdays and Fridays.

There are no examples of this in the NT.

11:4 Let every apostle who comes to you be received as the Lord.

11:5 But he must not remain more than one day, or two, if there's a need. If he stays three days, he is a false prophet.

Paul often stayed longer than two days. This would make him a false prophet according to this false teaching.

11:7 In addition, if any prophet speaks in the Spirit, you shall not try or judge him; for every sin will be forgiven, but this sin cannot be forgiven.

This goes against 1 John 1:4...Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.

This is why the Didache was rejected by the early church and should be today.
