How do they become ex-gays if we deny them an opportunity to here the Word and learn about repentance? My Church is filled with sinners of every description. Since it is sinners the need to hear the Word I see that as a good thing.

It's the membership thing that matters. Of course they can come to hear.

It could be that Hillsong doesn’t follow a formal membership. If you attend there and consider that your church then you’re a member. Hillsong is falling into the trap of mistaking a gay lifestyle for one who struggles with same sex attraction. People who live a gay lifestyle will, at some point, not be comfortable in a church that teaches the Bible. People who know the gay lifestyle is sin, don’t practice it, and are honest about their struggle with same sex attraction should be welcome in the church as a fellow struggler with sin. It would be refreshing to hear Hillsong, or any church say something like this: “If you are a practicing homosexual then you should find another church to attend because we will not support your lifestyle. If you are an individual that struggles with same sex attraction then please come and find help here. You are not alone, we all struggle with sin.”
And your earlier comment about Campolo was right on.
