Prayer for Our American Heroes and Our Nation

Isaiah 59:12 For our transgressions are multiplied before Thee, and our sins testify against us; for our transgressions are present to us, and as for our iniquities, we know them: 13 Transgressing and denying the LORD, and turning away from following our God, speaking oppression and perverseness, conceiving and uttering from the heart words of falsehood. 14 And justice is turned away backward, and righteousness standeth afar off; for truth hath stumbled in the broad place, and uprightness cannot enter. 15 And truth is lacking, and he that departeth from evil maketh himself a prey. And the LORD saw it, and it displeased Him that there was no justice; 16 And He saw that there was no man, and was astonished that there was no intercessor; therefore His own arm brought salvation unto Him; and His righteousness, it sustained Him; 17 And He put on righteousness as a coat of mail, and a helmet of salvation upon His head, and He put on garments of vengeance for clothing, and was clad with zeal as a cloak. 18 According to their deeds, accordingly He will repay, fury to His adversaries, recompense to His enemies; to the islands He will repay recompense. 19 So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and His glory from the rising of the sun; for distress will come in like a flood, which the breath of the LORD driveth.

FATHER, what an amazing chapter is Isaiah 59. LORD, YOUR TRUTH is ETERNAL, it reaches from generation to generation, convicting, revealing, calling, redeeming, promising, and bringing forth forever more YOUR GLORY. OH GOD, our nation, this nation for which our children live are as guilty as those written of in this chapter. We look upon what is being done in our nation, the immense sins that are before Thy Face, and the desperate situation that we are in. And LORD, we look to our leaders to walk in righteousness before Thee and to guide our country in YOUR ways, and indeed there is none, there is no man. So LORD, we understand that because of this, the Day of the LORD is at hand. And as we look toward that day LORD, when YOU will bring forth YOUR RIGHTEOUS JUDGEMENTS and all creation will understand at that moment, that YOU ARE RIGHT AND TRUE AND HOLY GOD, and no man will be able to speak against THEE, we continue to pray, even with fear and trembling. For all mouths will be closed of those upon whom YOUR JUDGMENTS will effect. And all hearts will realize that YOU are and have been the SAVIOR OF THE WORLD, which they have rejected.

BUT for us, to whom our Redeemer will come, to us, who love YOUR APPEARING, we look with great expectancy and hope, for we will forever SING THY PRAISE, for YOUR SPIRIT THAT LIVES IN US will REMAIN IN US and WITH US, FOREVER AND EVER…and will never depart for all ETERNITY, so that we will GLORIFY YOU and ENJOY YOUR PRESENCE with THANKSGIVING AND GLADNESS, unfettered by this world anymore. HALLELUYAH!!!!! THANK YOU LORD. AMEN. So we pray, Dear LORD, till this day comes, that this covenant of GRACE and this PROMISE of the HOLY SPIRIT will continue to work mightily in the hearts of our beloved Heroes that love our country and long for good, that fight the good fight among our nation that is faltering. May their children and their children’s children be counted among those whose promise YOU have spoken. May that be for all my brothers and sisters too who are here each day praying. May that reach every heart in Jacob, Thy People Israel, turning them away from all transgression, and turning them toward the Face of their Messiah, and be saved. GLORY TO GOD IN THE HIGHEST and let all the EARTH resound AMEN!!!
