What beautiful prayers! The one for our troops made me think of my Dad. I made a shadow box with some of the pins from his Ike jacket; one of his dog tags (I have the other to his buddy in combat, with whom we've kept in touch all these years; in there is a little tiny folder with Mother Cabrini, and a "I am a Catholic... signed from when he was a Corporal. He kept it with him and brought it home... I'm so proud of him! He and his buddy with whom he fought, are the reason I so love and respect our wonderful Military- and am grateful to be the daughter of one who was part of it!
God bless you,
Grateful

My Dad came to know the Lord at the tender age of 18, out in the Pacific on the way to Iwo Jima...thanks to a wonderful Chaplain on board his ship.
