Believes every word of God and celebrates ANYTHING gay
The American Baptist Churches of the South holds the following belief: The Bible is Gods Inspired Word. Baptists believe that the Bible is the divinely inspired record of Gods actions in history, and believe it is a trustworthy, authoritative, and all-sufficient rule of faith and practice. Source
Now, on that same website they write 3.ABC/USA has a history of openness to differing point of view. Jesus Christ is professed as Savior and Lord. Within the ABC/USA are different points of view on how persons go about expressing and living out that Lordship. Our tradition is one of acceptance, trust and openness to Truth.
Note the liberal theological buzzwords. In and of themselves they mean nothing...
BUT
Calvary Baptist Church, on their website professes to be a member of this denomination. If you click though the website Gaychurch.Org you will burrow down to this church.

-Partner with other advocacy and LGBT groups in our community to work for equality and justice for members of our community.
-Educate the Pullen congregation and community about justice and equality issues affecting the LGBT community.
The only good thing I see is they were kicked out of the Souuther Baptist Convention in 1992 because
After lengthy discussion and prayer, in 1992, Pullen endorsed unqualified acceptance of gay/lesbian Christians. Within a year Pullen was excluded from the Raleigh Baptist Association, the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina, and the Southern Baptist Convention.
