Granted it’s fiction, but it deals with a scenario where a little school in a small no name town is sued and why it was picked.
It’s an interesting book.

I read it many years ago, along with its companion book “This Present Darkness”. Excellent stories, over 30 years old, but still relevant today.
And, you are right. These “lawsuits” go after the most vulnerable. Little old lady florists, for example.
