Pray for our American Heroes and Nation

Thank You, God our Father. As we have prayed and asked You to arise and scatter our enemies, we believe that You are at work and so we are glad. We are in high spirits and glory before You. Yes, we jubilantly rejoice. Blessed are You! You bear our burdens and carry us day by day. You are the God of our salvation, the God of deliverances. To You belong the escape from death, setting us free. (from Ps. 68:1-3; 19-20)

In obedience to Your word, we pray for our President and his staff today. Give them wisdom and let Your truth and light enlighten their minds and hearts as You send it to them through Your laborers. Give them dreams and visions of Jesus and His way of doing and being right. Let Your Holy Spirit convict and convince them and bring demonstration to them about sin and about righteousness (uprightness of heart and right standing with God) and about judgment (Jn 16:8)

For the dearly beloved members of the Armed Forces, we ask You for letting Your Word have free course among them. We apply our faith to the saving and healing power of our Loving God to return them whole and safe to their families.

Thank You for the honor of working with Your Holy Spirit today in the name of Jesus. Amen.
