I would like to know how many Catholics have admitted in the Confessional to having voted Democrat. Voting for those who support baby-murder is surely a sin, is it not?
“Except in the case in which a voter is faced with all pro-abortion candidates, a candidate that is pro-abortion disqualifies himself from receiving a Catholics vote. This is because being pro-abortion cannot simply be placed alongside the candidate’s other positions on Medicare and unemployment, for example; and this is because abortion is intrinsically evil and cannot be morally justified for any reason or set of circumstances. To vote for such a candidate even with the knowledge that the candidate is pro-abortion is to become an accomplice in the moral evil of abortion. If the voter also knows this, then the voter sins mortally.” https://www.ewtn.com/vote/brief_catechism.htm
You know what? I recently heard on a Catholic talk show that a lot of Catholics are Democrat because they don’t feel “welcome” in the Republican party. They say they are more “accepted” in the Democrat party. Oh gee, I wonder why that would be? Do you have any thoughts on why this might be? Why do Catholics feel “ran off” by some republicans? HHMMMM
For the record though my state is chock full of Democrats but a lot of them are old school if you know what I mean. They can’t stand Obozo as much as we can’t. They are very pro life, (once you get away from Charleston that is) they are also very pro gun. This is a coal mining state and these Democrats don’t care much for... well I won’t use that word on this forum but you know what, be messing with their coal mining industry. Oh and Yes these Democrats do fly the Confederate flag in some parts.
