16th Sunday doesn’t make sense to me. Advent starts with the first Sunday in DEC. Counting 4 Sunday’s per month, that puts the 16th Sunday in late March (Not mid-July)
Gregorian/Roman calendar puts 16 Sundays after January 1 in late April (not mid-July).
Subtracting 16 Sunday’s from today would put the start of the year in March.
It is simply confusing me as to why the Msg. titled it a homliy with 16th Sunday ^of the Year^.
The Liturgical calendar works with the different liturgical seasons....not just straight down the calendar.
