Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

Our Father in Heaven
We Worship Your Holy Name!
We Love You, LORD.
With Our Whole Heart,
Our Whole Soul,
Our Whole Mind,
And Our Strength.
May The Words of Our Mouth,
And the Meditations of Our Heart,
Be Acceptable To You,
Oh LORD, Our God,
Our Rock and Our Redeemer.

We Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem,
According to Your Will and Promise.
We Pray For the People and Leaders of Israel,
that They Will Look to You for the Protection
and Prosperity of their Nation.
We Also Pray For Revival in our own Beloved USA.

We Pray For The Swift and Sure Coming of Messiah,
Blessed Be He,
To Establish His Kingdom,
and Make All Things Right.

Blessings To All Who Visit This Garden of Prayer.

Hallelujah and Amen

Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

Although there is no specific "Book of Elijah" in the Scriptures, Elijah The prophet is all through the Old and New Testament. His life story is presented in the Book of 1 Kings, but he is also mentioned in 2 Chronicles 21:12-15; Malachi 4:5-6; Matthew 11:14; 16:14; 17:1-13; Luke 1:16-17; 4:25-26; John 1:19-25; Romans 11:2-4; James 5:17-18, and inferred in the Book of Revelation.

Elijah seemed to be on the minds of many First Century Jewish People, as both John the Baptist and Jesus were asked, "Are YOU Elijah?". Clearly, people were expecting a visit from this historic figure. As a matter of fact, even today, during the Passover Seder, a cup of wine is put out for Elijah and the door left ajar...just in case.

Because of the passage in Malachi, Elijah is considered the forerunner of the Messiah. Here is a Passover Song (one of my favorites!) that sings of this event:

Eliyahu hanavi
Eliyahu hatishbi,
Eliyahu hagil'adi -

Bim'hera yavoh eleinu,
im mashiach ben David. (x2)

Elijah the prophet
Elijah the returning,
Elijah the giladi -

May he soon come to us,
with the messiah son of David. (x2)

Here is a you-tube of this song:

With Iran’s negotiated victory today flows money with which they can use in their efforts to destroy Israel.
So God of Jacob, Abraham and Moses we humbly ask that you protect Israel with your mighty power which also raised our Savior from the grave!
Amen
