Good thing he wasn’t around in the 1770s. ‘Coure, if he was, he’d probably be Pastor of the largest congregation in The Church of England.

It's hard to keep your TV ratings and make lots of money if you confront evil.

I guess that's the job for real evangelists.

Hey, give Joel some slack here. It’s hard enough for him to even sit and talk on religion for a full-hour.

He’s not called to preach the gospel, either. He needs to find an honest job.

What good is a clergyman if he takes no stand on an issue like gay marriage?

I know of a similar sissy “pastor” who’s church actually shares a parking lot with an abortion facility. He keeps his blinders tightly tied against his eyes and says NOTHING about the babies killed next door on a daily basis.

If he’s not “called” to speak out regarding abortion, homosexuals pretending to be married, or other difficult issues, then he’s not called by God, IMHO.

These are not political issues. They are life issues.

Joel’s calling is to make as much money for JOEL as he can. Anything that will smack of going against that is just not his calling.

Even a false witness can be right on a point now and then.

If a preacher is preaching the word of God rather than idealism no one has to even wonder about his political views.

When a preacher takes an hour to explain a two second scripture he obviously believes his congregation is stupid or is trying to make them see it different than what it says.

Acts 4
20 For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard.

32 And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul.

The apostles were speaking the things which Jesus said and did.

Matthew 24
5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

Matthew 24
24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

The preachers of today are seeking their own fame because they are preachers for hire.

John 10.
11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.

12 But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep.

13 The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep.

Just look at the hirelings flee from the wolf on this gay issue, .

If that does not describe the majority of churches today then I don`t know what does, there are pros and cons on the homosexual life style in most major churches and if they were true shepherds they would call an abomination what it is.

The sheep are being scattered.

Revelation 18
4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.

I believe most churches are a part of the whore of Babylon.

Our message is about...

I kept looking and looking and reading and reading, and what I did not find was: salvation, or repentance, or Christ.

How sad.
