I am surprised no one has posted this. Not being Protestant (or from the African religious tradition) this was a bit different than what I am used to. But overall I found the tone and message moving. God bless these faithful Christians in their time of grief.
Satan’s agent acted more to kill Christians than to kill Blacks. Satan might find useful tools anywhere. We need to be sure we are not conned by Satan.
Thanks for posting this. I watched through the prayer. I’ve emailed the video to myself and will watch the whole, nearly 3 hours of it later.
Bkmrk.
Thanks for posting. I’d have to say the meat of it is right up front, the beautiful introductory few minutes capture the spirit of the occasion. The main message Psalm 46:1-7 at about 1:20-1:40.
There is a grace and beauty in these precious people that even in the face of unimaginable evil has shown itself. This comes from grace of the Father and the Holy Spirit. God bless them all.
It is an unhappy but undeniable fact that Black and white chrstians in America have never really been co-religionists. Each group worships an ethno-cultural "gxd" that embodies its own values and each regards the other as its ultimate political enemy.
And while I certainly don't want this to be misunderstood, it is certainly true that the members of this church are on the Far Left on all political issues, as the leftist Black leadership came from the Black church and is supported by the Black church.
And have you noticed that "anti-chrstians" never attack Black chrstians?
Interesting.
I believe the ultimate human goal is eventually to meet at some fundamental level. Though cognizant of prophecy, I cannot claim to know exactly where that is as I’m not God. But I do believe it.
The church I m0st often attend is 80% B, 20% W. The only Hispanics are the 2 pastors. About 400 attend.
Sometimes my daughter drags me to a mega church 80% w, 20% b. 2 services over 2,000 each service. (I don’t really know how much over 2g).
Previously my landlady had me drive her to a mega church, 2 services 12,000+ each service. 90% b, 10% w.
When I was a kid, the church my dad pastored in the 50s was 50% w, 50% you name it. In college 80%w, 20% b. In the 60s First church out of college 50% Hispanic, 10% b, 40%w.
The Black conservative (Alan Keyes type) preachers wife who took charge of 7 precincts when I moved away delivered 87% for the very conservative slate she was on, including 100% of the Hispanics in a heavily Hispanic working class suburb. (I had only delivered 65% with 100% of the Hispanic vote..less 1 PR on welfare.) But she only delivered 70% of the Black vote for the conservative slate with Blacks under 20% of the total vote.
The truth is stereo types and generalizations don’t apply.
