Lord, we pray that You would guard our military men and women, and that Your grace would be with their families, to keep and to bless.
LORD, You are compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love. You will not always accuse, nor will You harbor Your anger forever; You do not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our inquities. For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is Your love for those who fear You. As far as the east is from the west, so far have You removed our transgressions from us. As a father has compassion on his children, so You have compassion on those who fear You. For You know how we are formed, You remember that we are dust, and You have mercy on our weakness. We praise You for Your great love, which You in patience renew toward us day by day; we thank You for Your grace, by which You blot out our sins through the blood of Jesus, in whose Name we pray, Amen.
