God had a perfect son, Jesus Christ, and generously shared Him with the world for our benefit. John 3:16 says “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” He gave Christ to us so that we can share His love and mercy with others.
