They need to stop driving people away and be more accepting and inclusive. Yeah, that’s the ticket!

I don’t know, and I will admit this from experience, but I left because I resigned from church, and the same is true for a lot of people who felt that it wasn’t what they wanted to be. But as I came to learn, following God is a challenge, not a given.

Even though it is pure evil, Islam stands for something and it believes in itself. Progressive Christianity stands for nothing and doesn’t believe the bible. Why would anyone join any organization like that?

But I bet the mosques are full and the atheists don’t have anything to say about them. Funny how the FFRF never boycotts mosques or Islamic displays here isn’t it?

I grew up Episcopalian (Church of England). It was really a beautiful church. Time passed and eventually so did my mom and her funeral was at that same church. I went to the Sunday service the day before her funeral for the first time (in that church) after being gone from the area for thirty years. At the Sunday service I was met by a homosexual couple who were the ushers. They made sure to let me know they were homosexuals. Besides me, there were TWO other people at that service in a church that could easily accommodate 600 parishioners. I never looked back.

Let them die, that church is completely apostate.

Christianity dying in the UK, with Mohammedism and atheism on the rise. Goodbye, Brits.

The Church of England is not “a generation away” from extinction.

The institution has become a rotting corpse and a mere shell of its former self, which, zombie-like, continues to shamble on, unthinkingly and without any real motivation.

Unable to muster even a small resistance to the inroads made by the Islamic invasion of their homeland, persons in search of SOME kind of religious guidance are, by default, being literally grabbed up and turned into Muslims, even those of old ethnic roots going back millennia in the soil of the British Isles.

Better they should have turned to Druidism.

Richard Dawkins (New Age atheist) has taken issue with Islam, even this year, he had no problem calling Islam evil

Yeah, I had around the same experience, although my father came out as atheist, so he’s not with that church anymore, and well, some time ago, I didn’t feel part of the Episcopal Church because of the downplaying of the Bible stories as symbolic lessons and downplaying of some Bible miracles as perhaps not “literal” I decided that it wasn’t just a story, I would take another route.

Who wants to go to a church run by queers and lesbians?

There are real Anglicans who are not The Episcopal Church or Church of England. In North America it’s ACNA (among others)

In the UK, check out the Free Church of England

Am a cradle Episcopalian, but now consider myself a Traditional Anglican. The church I used to attend, in a conservative area, just hired its first openly homosexual clergy, complete with a “husband.” It used to be a cardinal parish in the diocese, with nearly 2,000 families/pledging units, including a good number of young couples (the natural kind) and a thriving Sunday school & a preschool. It was one of the few Episcopal parishes in the U.S. that was growing. All that has reversed in recent years. What young parents want to expose their children to the immorality, sin, and filth of a sexually perverted priest? Answer: NONE.

The Muslims will have England by then and Islam will be the only “religion” allowed. That should make the anti-Christians happy…unless they are beheaded for being homosexual or not wearing their burkas.

First they put women in the priesthood, then LGBTs, then the government banned the freedom to rail against with the muzzies and atheists in sermons.

Perhaps that has something to do with the downturn in attendance.

Exactly. Especially since they already get secular liberalism 24/7 for free from the gov’t/media complex. Why would anyone be motivated to join that?

Maybe their mother-goddess will save them. They’re so gay friendly I wonder if the she-god is a lesbian.
