Isn't he the one who said "I would not believe the gospel were it not taught by the Catholic Church?" That used to be someone's tagline here on FR.

Isn't he the one who said "I would not believe the gospel were it not taught by the Catholic Church?" That used to be someone's tagline here on FR. He says something like that, yes, but his definition of "Catholic" was indeed Universal. Not "Roman" "Catholic," which two words are, when you think about it, are contradictory in meaning.
