This is an excellent exposition on the doctrine of Mary as the Mother of God.

... Since Mary is Jesus’ mother, it must be concluded that she is also the Mother of God: If Mary is the mother of Jesus, and if Jesus is God, then Mary is the Mother of God. There is no way out of this logical syllogism, the valid form of which has been recognized by classical logicians since before the time of Christ.

More error and fantasy from the largest cult in history! Continually trying to elevate a mortal woman to goddess status...

God has no mother! He is eternal. Alpha. Omega. Get it?

Interesting regarding Bobby Jindal (and Mary):
You, on the other hand, have had much experience in using prayer to help solve crises, going back to your college days when your ceaseless "Hail Marys" helped deliver your friend Susan from the devil in what you later realized was her exorcism.

As I'm sure you recall, Governor Jindal, Susan's depression about her cancer quickly progressed from depression into despair, and you found yourself in a room with her and a bunch of Campus Crusaders for Christ and other well-meaning but green evangelicals, wanting to help but unable to do so.

When you tried to join in the group's prayer, you felt "a weight on your chest," and initially could not overcome the darkness that was now taking ahold of your soul as well. But according to your 1994 article "Beating a Demon, Physical Dimensions of Spiritual Warfare," "suddenly...and strangely, I found myself repeating the Hail Mary until it became a chant. As a recent convert to Catholicism, I had yet to accept the Catholic doctrines concerning Mary, and considered [them] to be idolatry. Though I had never prayed a Hail Mary before in my life, I now found myself incapable of any other form of prayer."

But as it turned out, it was your prayers, along with the intervention of a crucifix (later found to have been blessed by John Paul II) that turned the tide for Susan, and her faith in Christ was restored. -Beating Obama and BP: My "beaded" letter for Bobby Jindal

In eternity yes, but in time, the Lord had to have a mother.

My guess is that the intent here is to have Mary be in authority over all of us and thus the Catholic Church.

Can someone tell me if I am wrong in this? PS: GRPL Ping

You're welcome. More from Bobby Jindal regarding his conversion to Christianity:
In my view there is an easy, universal barometer we can use to evaluate all cultures: how do they treat their most vulnerable members...those whom Jesus so aptly referred to as 'the least of these'? I would go so far as to say that a society that does not...defend the defenseless, [protect] all human life, is really not a civilized society after all. As for all my pro-choice friends out there, we can agree to disagree...and keep on arguing (until I win). --Bobby Jindal, from "Leadership and Crisis"

[After reading] all 700 verses of [Hindu Scripture's] Bhagavad Gita, I dug out...the unread Bible my friend Kent had given me, and [due to my parents' objections] sat in the closet and read from Genesis to the end. [Still] I had no epiphany...[until later] watching a simple black and white film about the crucifixion. I suddenly realized that Christ was on the cross because of me--my sins--what I had done, what I failed to do. He didn't die for billions, which was so abstract, but because of me. Suddenly God was tangible [and] everything instantly came into focus. --Bobby Jindal, from "Leadership and Crisis"

Rome’ Mary in ‘her own words’

1. Whosoever shall faithfully SERVE ME by the recitation of the Rosary shall receive signal graces.

From the how to pray the rosary instruction booklet.

Let’s test that with scripture:
How about quoted scripture from her Son?

Luke 4:8
Jesus answered him, “It is written, ‘YOU SHALL WORSHIP THE LORD YOUR GOD AND SERVE HIM ONLY

If protestants would read what the Catholic church pumps out as direct quotes from ‘Mary’ ,maybe they would see Rome has a lying Mary that points to a false Christ.

But that would mess up their roman Christmas, good Friday, easter Sunday and every Sunday that is affiliated with this false Christ..

This ‘Mary’ can be proven to be a liar and no lie ever points to Truth.
And the Roman Catholic Church gets away with their false premise that they have anything to do with the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
Mainly because her daughters let her..

Prophetic.

Not authority; that was delegated by Christ to Peter and to the other apostles, and through them to the pope and bishops. Mary commands our love and honor, since she is the mother of our Lord, and therefore of all Christians through our adoption as His brothers.

For a argument sake....Mary is the mother of God...

How does that in endow her with all the attributes Catholics attach to her?

Co-redeemer, intercessor , born sinless...etc

If I was a brain surgeon, it doesn’t mean my mother can operate on patients because she gave birth to me...

1. Whosoever shall faithfully SERVE ME ...

This is what I suspected, that this false Mary is used to supplant serving God only. Christ quotes Moses (Deuteronomy 6:13) to make this point completely clear.

Mary commands our love

Mary commands our love to her?

No; God commands our Love to Him only: "Deuteronomy 6:5 “You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might.

Nice try.

NCCs [non-Catholic-Christians], by and large, in my opinion, fear Mary. That She will somehow distract them into not loving Her Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, leading them into hell. Yet the opposite has been true for anyone who loves Our Lady. They are pulled closer and tighter to Her Son, Christ Our King. The evidence is everywhere [all around us], but easy to shun if one wants to.

If Mary is the mother of Jesus, and if Jesus is God, then Mary is the Mother of God.

I agree with that in a real sense: The sense that Mary is the mother of the human biological machine occupied by God. And that machine shows up at least twice in the OT (Wrestling with Jacob and in the furnace with Shadrach, Meshach, And Abednego.

There is a distinction here between Mary as Theotokos (θεοτόκος) which more accurately means "bearer of God," as opposed to Theometor (θεομήτωρ), which would be the more literal Greek for "Mother of God." Mary was the bearer of God, since God the Son was both borne by her and born in the flesh from her.

——NCCs [non-Catholic-Christians], by and large, in my opinion, fear Mary. ——

What utter nonsense...

NCC don’t fear Mary...we simply don’t attribute to her the non-biblical elements the CC does...

There is no reason for me to think Mary is nothing more than the woman to gave birth to our Lord...which does make her special and we should honor her for that...

End of story...
