Romans 1 also says that approving of sexual sin is as bad as engaging in it yourself, which is why Christians cannot be involved in gay “marriages.”
Same is true with Corinthians. They were supposed to remove a man for engaging in a relationship with his stepmother, and Paul was upset that no action was taken.
