The Episcopal Church has an approved liturgy for a same sex wedding ceremony. The referenced article contains a link to a PDF copy of the liturgy.

Actually he went to hell to bring people who did not have the opportunity to be saved by his sacrifice back toheaven with him.

Say nothing and move on.

Items such as this are one of the many resons that have pretty much abandoned organized religion. I am free to worship as I see fit without having to worry about what others in my church say or think.

Go see your local imam and complain. Maybe the imam will set up the gay couple a nice Muslim wedding. Muslim weddings don’t look to complicated. Most Muslims should give a gay couple a great heads up.... ops sorry, I mean a great heads off.

You can’t sanctify sin, so a holy institution such as marriage cannot be applied to a homosexual union. However, a person struggling with homosexual tendencies could marry someone of the opposite sex.
Is PCUSA breaking up right now? Are factions splitting off?

Conservatives lost the issue when they followed the left into adopting language such as “same-sex marriage”.

Yes, PCUSA is breaking up, but no one is coming out and calling it that. The ability to leave depends on the ability to negotiate the right to buy your church property. Up until recently, it was easier in most places to do that. But with the authorization of same-sex “marriage,” the rush towards the doors is accelerating and a number of presbyteries are now trying to shut down leaving. (In my opinion, churches who waited on leaving and are just thinking about it now are probably too late—either they are going to be barred from taking their properties or the presbyteries are going to intervene to remove their pastors and session for violating the “unity” of the church.”

I think at this point a lot of congregations are just going to split and the Bible-believing faction is just going to walk out the door.

I am slightly off topic. There is a reason for the lawyers to push for gay marriage. The lawyers anticipate more divorce case fees.

Tell the pastor that he will be assigned to a new parish/church that only allows homosexual couples and “married” homosexuals - all living and operating expenses to come from their offerings.....

In further response to your question, here’s an article about a PCUSA church that just split. They tried to leave but fell 8 votes short of that needed. So the majority of the church I suspect is just going to walk out.

Reminds me of:
