Even Jesus got mad at the marketplace.

That same Jesus also said "render unto Caesar what is Caesar's", fwiw.

Which could be interpreted as he didn’t have a problem with some allegiance to a government, as long is it didn’t supersede allegiance to God.
And a Christian country like America would be allowed even more allegiance in God’s eye.

OK, then, what belongs to God? “The earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof.”

Jesus said you could pay TAXES... He pointed out that a coin had the image and likeness of Caesar. BUT ... Tell me, whose image and likeness are you?

A whole lot, then, belongs to God. The problem is....that Caesar’s list keeps getting longer and longer, as God’s list gets shorter and shorter.

What’s on Caesar’s list of the things that HE says are “his”?

• education,
• procreation,
• recreation,
• relationships,
• lifestyles,
• human services,
• kids,
• foster care,
• adoption,
• work,
• jobs,
• profits
• wages
• enterprise
• hiring & firing
• the economy,
• human services,
• the very definition of words like
  • "human rights"
  • “justice”
  • “fairness”
  • “marriage” and "family,"
  • “sex” and “gender,”
  • moral judgment,
  • right and wrong,
  • good and evil,
  • life and death.

Does all that belongs to Caesar? Really? I don’t think so.
