Our Holy Father,

'Blessed be Thou, O Lord God of Israel our Father, Forever and Ever. Thine, O Lord, is Greatness and Power, and Glory and Victory, and Praise: for All that is in Heaven and in Earth is Thine: Thine is the Kingdom, O Lord, and Thou Excellest as Head Over All. Both Riches and Honor Come of Thee, and Thou Reignest Over All, and in Thine Hand is Power and Strength, and in Thine Hand it is to Make Great, and to Give Strength unto All. Now therefore, our God, we Thank Thee, and Praise Thy Glorious Name.' (1Chron.29:10-12)

Merciful and Kind Master, we Lift to You our Beloved Troops. May Your Spirit Bless them, and Your Power, Lord, Keep them Safe. Let Your Love Surround them, and Your Presence Fill their Hearts with Peace. Please Grant them Victory, Father, over their Evil and Hateful Foes. May Jehovah's Might and Abilities be Imparted to Every Man. We Ask, our Savior, that our Men's Faith will Rest in Thee. 'On Thee, O Lord, Do I Wait: Thou wilt Hear me, my Lord, my God.' (Ps.38:15)

Your Excellency, we Pray for Israel's Safety and Peace. May the Day be at Hand when she will Trust in her Savior-King.

Thank You, our Shepherd, for Loving us and Answering our Prayers. We will Honor and Exalt You Forever for All You have Done for Your Church. 'Worthy is the Lamb that was Slain to Receive Power, and Riches, and Wisdom, and Strength, and Honor, and Glory, and Praise.' (Rev..5:12) In Jesus' Name, for the Glory of our King of kings, amen.

IN THE COLDEST and darkest days of the American Revolution, General George Washington raised his prayers for the survival of his beleaguered Army and of the new Nation. The Lord answered his prayers, upheld his Army through a punishing nadir to everlasting Glory, and bestowed His Manifold Blessings upon the new Nation.

FROM THE BRAVE, albeit weary, ill-equipped, and untrained volunteers who marched into Valley Forge on 19 December 1777 arose, with the help of some gallant friends from across the waves, the cohesive fighting force that became the United States Army, global defender of Freedom and scourge of Tyrants.



AS GENERAL WASHINGTON lifted his prayers on high in that bleak Winter, let our prayers now rise like a fountain for our Heroes in the American Armed Forces who seek to secure the benefits of Freedom on behalf of a people hungry for them. Father, look on our prayers for them with favor, guide their steps in righteousness and gather them in the shelter of Your Healing Wings. Bless and uphold them in the performance of their Mission. Through Jesus Christ, Your Son, with the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever, Amen.
