Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

Oh LORD, Our God,
How Excellent is Your Name over All The Earth!
For You Alone Are Worthy;
You Alone Are LORD;
You Alone Are The King of the Universe!
Ancient of Days;
You Are The One True God of Abraham,
and We Praise and Worship You with Our Whole Heart,
Soul, Mind, and Spirit!
Help us remember that the "Secret Things" belong to You,
And keep our hearts from wandering where they don't belong.

We Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem,
According to Your Will and Promise.
We Pray For the People and Leaders of Israel,
that They Will Look to You for the Protection
and Prosperity of their Nation.
We Also Pray For Revival in our own Beloved USA.

We Pray For The Swift and Sure Coming of Messiah,
Blessed Be He,
To Establish His Kingdom,
and Make All Things Right.

Blessings To All Who Visit This Garden of Prayer.

Hallelujah and Amen

ML/LTOS

I know I am going to get kicked off one day because of my inquisitiveness, even though I am hard boiled conservative, and I ask this question to truly gain knowledge.
If Jesus said he is the light and the way an you can only get to heaven through him, how does this affect the great Jewish people? The new pope said believing in Jesus was not a prerequisite to get to heaven, so I would think they are in good standing. And I could be quoting what Jesus said wrong!! Please DON'T be offended by my question! I believe those with a good heart go to heaven. But what do I know. And Israel and the US are fierce allies in spite of the current president.

Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

Our last encounter with Samuel is from the Grave, and it is not a pleasant one.

The Scriptures take great pains to tell us that we are not to attempt to communicate with the dead, and Saul was well aware of this! He had, in fact, expelled all the mediums and spiritists from the land, under pain of death. Not only was he breaking the law of God, but he was breaking his OWN law!

Some scholars do not even think it was really Samuel who was conjured up, but rather some kind of deceiving spirit. Yet, the Message that Samuel brings is true and glorifies the One True God. This will probably remain a controversy till we get to heaven, but I doubt if it will be important to us at that moment! Tomorrow we will pick up the intervening story of Saul from the point where he is rebuked by Samuel the first time (1 Samuel 16).

Come and Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem, For Our FRiends in Need, For Persecuted Believers, and For Our Beloved Nation.

Dear Lord I pray for Israel and all of it people protect them Lord because they can’t depend on USA/Obama he hate them and wants them gone as does many in the World. Wrap UR loving arms around them and let them know they should not look to anyone but You to take care of them and You will always be there for them till end of time. Keep Bibi in UR loving care as he lead Israel. What a blessing he has been to the Israel people he has stood up for them around the World when it seem everyone is against them. Iran want them run out into the Sea. Thank You Lord for sending him to guide Israel. Please dear Lord send USA a leader like him so we can put U first in USA again and then You will Bless USA again. We need a God loving person to lead us. Thank U for loving us and forgive us R sins Lord. In Jesus Name I pray………Amen

Dear FRiend;
On FR, we have what we call “Designated Prayer Threads”, which is what this one is. One of the features of a Prayer Thread is that we only use them for prayer, and stay away from debate on doctrine, church practice, denominational differences, etc. Nevertheless, because of the sincerity of your question, I will give you my humble opinion, based on 35 years of studying God’s Word. I am asking all of our Prayer Warriors to refrain from debate, as We do not want the Garden of Prayer to become a debate like some of the other threads in the Religion Forum. (YIKES!!!!)

Anyway, here goes:

1. Jesus said “I am the Way, The Truth, and the Life. No man comes to the Father except by Me.”

2. God made a Covenant with Abraham.

3. God keeps His promises.

These Great Theological Truths exist in tension with one another, and like other doctrines (Such as the Trinity and the Hypostatic Union of God and Man in the Person of Jesus) can’t be explained in the normal laws of physics or thermodynamics or nature. But that’s OK.

God is God, and I am NOT.

So we won’t kick you out of the Garden, but invite you to stay and pray with us!

((((HUGS))))
