A great testimony. Too bad our golfer-in-chief is wanting to make it a crime for those in the gay lifestyle to seek help. I think, unless, zero, repents, there is a special place of torment in hell awaiting him.

I was kayaking from Angel Island to the Golden Gate bridge when I spotted some trash in the water so I picked it up and put it under the sling on my kayak. When we made the shore I saw that it was a zippered canvas bag about the size of a lunch box. Inside was a collection of gay porn lifestyle artifacts, a small amount of drugs and a journal. From the journal it was obvious that some repentant homosexual was trying to give up the lifestyle and had thrown this off the bridge, probably within only an hour or two before I came along.

Also inside was a gay video store membership card with his name on it. Mischievously, I thought I could look up his address and leave the bag back on his doorstep, perhaps even getting it there even before he returned from his errands. At the very least he would have discovered it when he next left his house. Wouldn't that freak someone out? Kind of a Twilight Zone moment. But I do believe in the power of repentance and redemption so I didn't really want to mess with his head that bad.

I watched my cousin (bisexual) and all his friends die of AIDS. You will never convince me that homosexuality is normal or healthy.

This is a testimony that the MSM will not allow to see the light of day. “Banned in Boston” has an entirely new meaning in 2015.

So revealing. As a straight woman coming of age in NYC, I witnessed so many young friends dying of AIDS. At least two of them were drawn from their small hometowns by their big city seducers...

nudity is not pornography...there are basically 2 kinds of human bodies and they should be attractive to each other.....misuse of the nude body can certainly be pornographic, but Playboy???? I don’t think so(and they have all those important articles)...:o)))

You’re in a unique club here at FR. I’m in that club too - people who have lived in a society in which we saw gay culture up close and personal. Our perspective has much to offer to others who have no connection to it.

Playboy isn’t that benign. It helped mainstream porn.

Yup. Unrepentant sin is bad. But it is worse to encourage those ensnared in sin to commit spiritual suicide (with the end being eternity in hell - not annihilation). A veritable Judas goat.

Prayers up for this young man.

May he stand for the truth of the Gospel and be heard.

I hope he has filed an amicus brief with the Supreme Court.

Any ministries out there wanting to have a first hand testimony, here is a man who apparently has one!

A key quote:

In my 11 years in the gay lifestyle, and with my ministry to that community now, I have never met a happy gay couple. Their relationships are transitory, fleeting, and physically-based. And, even for people who are supposed to be involved in monogamous relationships, it is understood that these relationships will “open up.” This happens despite the fact that you may be emotionally connected and living together.

Another key quote from this guy:

There’s always that fringe preacher out there, who thinks all gays should be killed. The gay community actually loves people like that, because it gives them the opportunity to say, “See, this is what Christians think about us. They hate us.” When I go to the street fairs in the Castro, you see “God hates fags” people out there.

On the other hand, though, you don’t want to baby gay men and women, accepting their lifestyle. I also see the “pro-gay” Christian people who say, “Jesus loves everyone, just go ahead and live your lives.” They don’t offer gays anything. It’s a false compassion.

I think Father Harvey had it right. Offer compassion and love, but give them the truth. When I minister in the Castro, I talk to gays and listen. I tell them there is a way out of the lifestyle. They don’t need to feel trapped. But all the people around them are gay and they don’t know what to do.

Precious testimonial. I have such a heart for gay men, in particular. I KNOW they want out and its gotten to the place where they are shamed if they say that as opposed to being ashamed of living a sinful lifestyle.

God bless them all and open their eyes to the truth!

Yes, it might have really freaked him out, to the point of giving in and allowing the lifestyle to swallow him up. Then you would have had to stand before Jesus and share in the blame.

I’m glad you didn’t do it.

I saw it up close too. I was 19 in 79 when the big gay scene was bubbling and a short year or so later AIDS hit. I lived near several gay men who were all my friends. We all worked in restaurants so I would go to the Parliament House with them.

Most are dead now. I loved them all very much.

I am now devoted to Christ and see the truth of it all; I didn’t see it then and they don’t see it either when they are living in Satan’s darkness. Pray for the gay community and pray for this guy; he is truly doing God’s work.
