A Swedish priest who claimed that gay people have a psychological disorder that can be cured has apologised after his comments outraged gay rights campaigners.
Priest Ingvar Fogelqvist, who was preaching at the Catholic parish of Arkeangeln Sankt Mikael in the southern town of Vaxjo, said in a confirmation class in front of 2,000 worshippers that gay people had a “psychological disorder that could be cured”, but claimed other types of homosexuality were incurable.
Fogelqvist told the students in attendance that gay people, and people who suffer from health problems or impotence, should not be permitted to live a “normal” family life, claiming that, according to the Church’s vision, they could not marry because they are not suitable.
Unsurprisingly, the foolish priest sparked outrage among the town’s gay community and beyond, with the country’s biggest gay organisation, RFSL, noting that such remarks could cause problems for younger generations.

Truth telling is a revolutionary act these days.
He’s actually onto something: the homosex life puts them in company with those whose psychopathic hatred for all others outside their “norm” and resultant deliberate efforts to destroy those “outsiders” constitutes a severe mental disorder. Sort of like the ones exhibited by Hitler, Stalin, Pol Pot, Dan Savage, Barack Obama, and others of that ilk.
Well rightly so. It can't always be cured.
He's right about the rest of it though. "Gay" people have a serious psychological disorder.
Secular therapy has usually failed to produce lasting results, since same-sex attraction is not only a psychological problem but has demonic and spiritual elements. But that doesn’t mean it isn’t supposed to be classed as a disorder. People just need to know what they’re fighting.
Imagine if alcoholics responded this way. Government would be paying for free booze and placing pillows and blankets in gutters. There would be parades where everyone staggers along sh*t-faced drunk. Drunk driving laws would be thrown out by the courts, and anyone who claims that drunks are the reason for deaths on our roads would be accused of using pseudo-science and be labeled a hatemonger.
Exorcism.
Little wonder gays became so enraged.
Demons always screech the loudest when they're being cast out.
Every homosexual I know has mental/physical problems.
Drug or alcohol addiction, depression/suicide, disease, obesity, violence, extreme promiscuity are the common ones.
Homosexuality will simply never be “normal” and it has nothing to do with heterosexuals’ or society’s treatment of them. Their problems are their own and are inherent in their lifestyle.

The selfishness of sexuality is a tough hurdle for humanity to overcome.
The notion that we need sex with others and or ourselves for human survival is deeply ingrained.
The alcohol-drug offender often ends up closely monitored with testing to stop consumption of booze and drugs.
The sex offender could be told its okay to have sex with themselves from time to time. No cold turkey there.
Years ago I heard some “sex expert” on the radio with Don Imus saying that sexual climax for a man means the release of a depressant into the body. I deduce from that any sexual activity by a man involves giving himself a buzz.
Same sex attraction is a temptation to commit the sin of sodomy. As such, it is primarily a spiritual problem which demons can and will exploit. Merely secular attempts at solution are doomed to failure.
God's Grace is necessary.
Our help is in The Lord, who made Heaven and earth.
Instead of apologizing, which only serves to embolden them, just shout back: “Yeah, where’s the proof that I’m wrong?!”
Just because one cam claim a gemder preference. Unless their body parts change with it. As with discharges of eggs from a male body part, and sperm from a female body part, that really would validate their claim. Otherwise that claim would have to be a mental disorder./s
