Franklin Graham Gives Support to Mike Pence as Robert Jeffress Slams Gov. for 'Capitulating'"

Rev. Franklin Graham has spoken out in support of Indiana Gov. Mike Pence's decision to sign the Religious Freedom Restoration Act into law, but some conservatives, such as Dr. Robert Jeffress, are now concerned that Pence may be "capitulating" to the opposition.

After initially signing the Religious Freedom Restoration Act into law on March 26, Pence immediately faced backlash from gay rights supporters. State leaders and businesses vowed to boycott the state of Indiana, accusing the state of anti-gay discrimination. Early Monday morning, Republican leaders in the Indiana General Assembly held a press conference to address the concerns and criticism. They ruled out a repeal of the law but said they would issue clarification to help others understand the law better.

Graham issued a statement of support for Pence on Monday, stating that Pence was "taking a lot of heat for doing the right thing. He is being attacked by the LGBT community, liberal politicians, and liberal media who don't want Christians' freedoms to be protected. Thank God for politicians like Governor Pence who are not afraid to take a stand regardless of the political consequences. We need more men like him in public office across this country and in Washington who are willing to stand for right over wrong."

Wonder if Pence will stab Rev. Graham in the back, too.

Franklin Graham was either too trusting.....or trying to fortify Pence so he wouldn’t do what he did the next day.

Franklin Graham’s conscience will be just fine......his convictions don’t blow with the wind.

Governor Pence....as well as Governor Hutchinson should be ashamed of themselves!

You'd think the homos would support the freedom to speak, the freedom to associate, and the freedom to believe. History repeats itself.

In NAZI Germany, the homos supported the socialists then, too. Once the NAZIs acquired enough power, the homos and their useful idiots were all "eliminated."
In America, if the American socialists on the left acquire enough power, the homos and their useful idiots will once again become a burden.
That is if the new, untouchable religious majority (by 2030)- the muslims - don't kill them all off first.

For some reason, the homos have a deep seated death wish. Either today's socialists will use them to acquire unlimited power and then kill them, or the new muslim majority will kill them off on religious grounds, or nature and natures God will once again riddle them with disease like it has so many times before and no one will want to help them.
OR, if the SHTF, the 98% of the population may want to engage in a little pay back for being forced to speak, behave, and believe like the totalitarian homos are demanding they do. The homos will be used as target practice.

The homos aren't really thinking this thing trough. They're simply reacting, and if successful will lead to their own demise. No democrat politician is going to be there to protect them anymore.

It will be interesting to see how the effete elite react when the untouchable religious minority began to “take action” against the homosexuals. I will fill my glass with wine, smoke a good cigar and watch with a smile on my face.

Yep. Might as well. They'll be reaping exactly what they've "chosen" to sow. It's their death style "choice," right?
It's not like the 98% didn't try to warn them.

Almost no one is thinking any political/moral issue through, today. The militant Left has succeeded in conditioning much of the public--including many otherwise Conservative people--into total acceptance of Egalitarian/Collectivist premises.

A century ago, no one would have even questioned the right of free Americans to "discriminate"; that is to make decisions in their own businesses & property, based upon their preferences, rather than the preferences of some bureaucrat. But endless iteration of the mantra that to "discriminate" is evil, has cowed most folk into walking on eggs as it were, rather than dare to express any preferences that are not sanctioned by the Collectivist Left.

For a dissent: "Civil Rights" vs. A Free Society.

I may not agree with someone's decisions, in how to run his or her own business, on his or her own property. But as a Conservative American, I will always defend their right to make such decisions, governed by their lights, not mine.

Unfortunately, that will never happen. The "untouchable religious minorities" derive too much benefit from being on the same side of the spectrum as the homos. Furthermore their "religious leaders" are either anti-Biblical liberals or ignoramuses who are so consumed by the current racial narrative that they don't even know this homo fascism is going on.

There will never be a crack in the Grand Alliance so long as the accursed redneck remains to unite them all in hatred.

Pence is a coward and so is Hutchinson and 90% of the republican governors who are scared to death to be labeled homophobic. 10 to one says there will be defense of REAL MARRIAGE in the 2016 GOP platforn. The entire GOP will cave to the sodomites, the exact same way “fair and balanced” Fox News has caved to the perverts. They will all throw Christians under the bus to keep from telling the truth about sodomy. Same story, different day with these spineless cowards.
