"We are told this was to happen and it is. We are told it will get much worse and I truly believe it will."

That does not matter:
"...and having done all, STAND." (Ephesians 6:13)

For years, pro-life lawyers have known of the “abortion distortion” in constitutional law, where expressive activity that would be perfectly legal in virtually every other context can be criminally punished when turned against abortion

And it's not just "expressive activity". Every other element of the common law and statutes have to get out of the way, if THEY are in the way of unlimited abortion. In this regard, this new "peculiar institution" is quite similar to another one from the 19th Century.

Religion aside, what the fascist opponents of the freedom of religion act want is that nobody has freedom of association. That goes for religious people and non-religious people.

If I have a lawn mower for sale and somebody I despise comes by to purchase it, I have to sell the lawn mower to that person. They've opened up a can of worms. But two can play that game.

There will still be faithful followers of Christ, but much more home-based churches.

"I have to disagree. We are told this was to happen and it is. We are told it will get much worse and I truly believe it will."

We were also told there will always be a remnant of the faithful.

In this information age, with cameras everywhere and saturation media delivered through countless bandwidth spigots, the truth can get its boots on a lot faster than it used to.

True that. Now arises the question: What will our leaders actually DO? The culture is not going to be moved by words. Many ears are wide open.

I have heard a boycott of Walmart suggested. (Also saw a FReeper say he couldn't do THAT because his store was too convenient.)

My question for the Minister would be, “Are there any other sins you would like the congregation to celebrate?”

How about adulterers? Let’s have all the adulterers stand up and let’s celebrate their sinful ways.

I have to disagree. We are told this was to happen and it is. We are told it will get much worse and I truly believe it will.

I have to agree with you...and I think that speaks volumes about the lackluster worship that most suburban churches exude...many of the Faithful want simply to go to church, listen to the spiel, and then meet up at breakfast, their devotional duty fulfilled...

But some of the Faithful will fight back, and hopefully will be able to reestablish worship as a primary force in their lives...I hope to be part of such a Church in the next ten years or so, before my time runs out...

why should anyone be forced to be exposed to a morally offensive group or individual(s) they find offensive...?? life liberty and pursuit of happiness for some excludes sodomites, necrophiliacs, beastiality, gender benders, classless, lawlwess, illegal, unruly individuals or groups and parasites / the free stuff crew..
that currently, unfortunately includes about 47% of the ussa population today...
i want to live amongst and sociailze with and go to church with like thinking/acting individuals and libtard nazis can rot far as i am concerned... I want to choose the charities and individuals i want to share my charity with. i dont need uncle sam to facilitate charity. idont nee or want anything from uncle sam and i want uncle sam to start doing what it is supposed to do according to the Constitution... and in that respect he is doing a pisssss pooor job.

No they don’t.

Only protected groups can be discriminated against.

A Christian anti-gay marriage group that wanted a gay baker to produce a cake for their event could be turned down without consequence.

Nazis and Christians aren’t protected groups.

You know, everybody is missing the main point here. It’s that the government is deciding who is and is not part of a protected group.

Of course, it’s been doing that for at least 50 years now.

Only protected groups can be discriminated against.

I think that you intended "can't" for "can."

It is only illegal to discriminate against some one privileged to have the Government override the free choices of anyone who would refuse to hire, serve or associate with him.

Otherwise, the right to make one's own choices for how his property or person will be used, remains.

Of course, the Left has conditioned the public, like so many Pavlovian dogs, to view "discrimination" as one of the great evils of life. It used to simply mean that one exercised powers of discernment, etc..

See "Civil Rights" vs. A Free Society.

Yielding would be OK for them, as long as you gave up your Christian faith,

but they’d rather see you punished and humiliated by the State,

perhaps, eventually, if they play their cards right,
they can have us killed.

One difference is that pro-lifers have not been forced by the government to participate directly in abortions. The closest the authorities have come is trying to mandate abortion-causing drugs as part of health coverage. But now they are demanding Christian bakers, florists, and photographers to participate directly in celebrating same-sex weddings.

Where are the church leaders? Bill O'Reilly has been complaining that he can't even get them to come on his show to defend Christian values.

Christians are the enemy of "progressives" because the are the biggest obstacle to their secular agenda of LGBT "rights" and abortion on demand.
