But it doesn’t have to be this way, says Snead, who together with the Center is trying to re-inject Catholic values into science and bioethics.

Catholic ping!

Just trying to reclaim “the human” is such a formidable task...

So per the left GMO’s aka “Frankenfood” is a threat but genetic “Frankenstein” is great because it allows homosexual reproduction?......sorry if GMO food is something to worry about..how much more GMO people?

Do diligence and rational caution make subordinate to a PC agenda?

But why?

Biodiversity also includes gender diversity. Any offspring, were this to be even possible, would necessarily be female.

Not a good survival strategy, should some apocalyptic future happen to occur, without access to high-tech medical laboratory facilities.

Not just a major die-back, a total die-out of whatever the human race may have become.

God has sent his smite before. Ctrl-Alt-Del.

One helluva reboot.

The whole concept boggles my mind. Scientifically interesting, but sounds like a complete Pandora’s box genetically/psychologically. I suspect we will discover down the road that genetic manipulation, of any kind, is way more complicated than we even imagine.
