I’ve always thought that the Blessed Virgin Mary wanted to remain silent and thus direct everything toward he Son, Jesus Christ.

I have always tried to imagine what went through the Blessed Mothers’ head in those painful hours. She trusted Him fully, she remained silent. Most of us would have been raising a stink and a half if it was our kid being railroaded. Think about it.
