I attend events at various Protestant and Evangelical churches around town. At every one of them I keep encountering people who tell me “I used to be Catholic”.
Most times a marital break-up is at the heart of their story. They all tithe to the new churches they have joined.
Don’t think the Vatican has not noticed.
