For it is God’s will that you be sanctified. . . May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. The one who calls you is faithful and he will do it. 1 Thessalonians 4:3; 5:23-24
JESUS, we thank YOU that as YOU knelt before the FATHER to pray for us, that YOU PRAYED for our Sanctification. JESUS, we thank YOU that YOU send the HOLY SPIRIT to be our guide and helper as YOU intercede for us each day. So, with bended knee, as we look to follow YOU in all that we do, we too pray for our beloved heroes with the words YOU spoke. SANCTIFY THEM IN YOUR TRUTH…YOUR WORD IS TRUTH. May the desire of their hearts be in every situation for the GLORY OF GOD and the good of souls. Protect them from all this world has to offer that rejects YOUR HOLY CALLING, as they fight not only the present evil that walks this earth, but the spiritual evil that wages war against their hearts, souls, and minds. Amen. And LORD, when their duty is done, we ask that they may make it their goal and receive the Grace to live quiet lives - being able to find jobs and work well – to have fellowship with their neighbors with the love of their families (Thess. 4:11)
LORD, what can we say about this nation. Seems that all things that pertain to GODLINESS and HOLINESS have been or are being rejected in our schools, courts, congresses, governments, the list goes on and on. LORD, we pray for such a magnitude of POWER from the HOLY SPIRIT to shake all these areas so that what remains is a true and deep repentance from the hearts of the people. May we pray for leaders that do not reject our Christian Heritage and the GLORY of the calling that was to be in the heart of America. We pray also FATHER, for Israel as she faces new elections. LORD, we pray for our Messianic Brothers and Sisters as they reach out with the GOOD NEWS of the Messiah to their friends and neighbors. May the fruit of their labor spread into all areas of life in Israel, and we pray that Salvation will reach all corners of that nation as it has reached the ends of the earth, for our Redemption draws near. WE LOVE YOU…WE PRAY…IN JESUS NAME…AMEN.
