This weekend the Vatican formally hosted one of Britain’s most virulently pro-abortion and pro-homosexual writers, as well as the head of an American organization promoting female ordination, at an officially sanctioned event inside Vatican City walls. Organizers spoke to Vatican Radio as well as the secular press, praising the new atmosphere within the Church’s leadership that made the conference possible.

Ah well. I can tell you that any mature Catholic knows that the Vatican is not the Church but I’m sure that you won’t listen.

I read “Mass” as an abbreviation for “Massachusetts”, accidentally.

Luke 17:1
Jesus said to his disciples: “Things that cause people to stumble are bound to come, but woe to anyone through whom they come.

International Women’s Day

“Among the organizers and speakers were Deborah Rose-Milavec, one of the US’s most prominent agitators for female ordination, and Tina Beattie, a British feminist academic notorious for her advocacy for abortion, homosexual relations, and “gay marriage,” and who once compared the Catholic Mass to homosexual sex.

Beattie is the Director of the Digby Stuart Research Centre for Religion, Society and Human Flourishing at the University of Roehampton in London. Her extreme and anti-Catholic positions on abortion and sexuality prompted Bishop Declan Lang of the English Diocese of Clifton to cancel a scheduled lecture in 2012. She continues to write regularly for the UK’s far-left Catholic magazine The Tablet.”

Francis seems to promote those who are pro abortion and pro homosexual. WHY????

I could see having a debate about female ordination, but I don’t see inviting someone pushing a pro-abortion and pro-homosexual marriage agenda.

I don't follow your point. All three are heretical. And W/O is often the gateway drug to the other heresies. I can't think of a single Protestant sect that adopted female ordination that has not gone completely off the rails.

There is no debate in the Catholic Church about either the ordination of women to the priesthood, abortion, or Sodomy Consummated Marriage.

They have all been addressed Ex Cathedra regularly by many popes. There will be no women priests. There will be no elective abortions, there will be no sodomy marriage approved by the Catholic Church.

The only question that is how liberal the Church will be in the granting of annulments and the remarriage of those who have either never sought one or have had one rejected.

Depends on how much money ya have.... just ask a Kennedy. Any of them, they should be able to give you a rough estimate about the cost of any Catholic favor.

The event was sponsored by the Pontifical Council for Culture.
