Harris and Dawkins I see as acting out.
Harris does have greater ambition, though, a bit along the lines of L. Ron Hubbard.
I have never seen an example of careful and honest thinking from the atheists.
Great article.
What I’ve found to be interesting is is how people relate to God and how they relate to others.
Somehow we seem to think that God will tolerate out of us what we won’t tolerate ourselves from others. His example of the marriage proposal is a great one.
Do we give our spouse the leftover time of the day? Ignore them until we’re in dire straits and then go running to them to bail us out? Do our token paying attention and ignore intimacy and time alone together and still think that’s a healthy relationship?
God WANTS our attention, just like we want the attention of the one we love.
In reality, most atheists are moral parasites. They outwardly exhibit Christian morals for the most part, morals they claim they reject. If they were true atheists they’d be sociopaths. The sociopathic atheists are the only atheists that truly live out their depraved worldview.
Good article. Francis Schaeffer’s books addressed a lot of these atheist logically inconsistent propositions.
